JAZZ COURSE UK HITS 1000!!

Jazz Course UK has now filled well over 1000 places since it’s inception in 1994 – around 1200 places to be more precise – a fact that cements our reputation as one of the foremost organisations working in Jazz education today.

Jazz Course UK courses are primarily about learning improvisation techniques. Whether you’re an instrumentalist or vocalist, all of our courses centre on ensembles so that students get to play and interact with each other. Jazz Course UK tutors are well established performers who have a natural ability to teach, facilitate and inspire.

With a high proportion of returning students who give us consistently positive feedback, we are teaching students from right across the UK and foreign students from Europe, USA, China and Japan. Our students come from diverse musical backgrounds from novice improvisers through to professional musicians.

RHYTHM SECTION VOLUNTEERS

To achieve balanced instrumentation in the ensembles we sometimes need to top up on bassists/drummers. If you are either a semi-pro jazz musician or a jazz music student interested in playing on a course please apply by sending us your current musical CV. On residential courses accommodation may be provided.

We hope to see you on one of the summer courses and please feel free to get in touch with us any time!
